Test Predicts Breast Cancer Spread
The test identifies a unique 76-gene signature that discriminated between those at high risk and those at low risk of recurrence -- regardless of a patient's age, tumor size, or other characteristics. Unfortunately, widespread use is over a decade away, which means that a lot of women who don't need chemotherapy will have to go through it.
